Drukir wishes to announce the following vacancy.

: General Manager-Finance
Vacancy : One (01)
Station : Paro
Qualification : Min. B.Com. (experience & knowledge
in the airline business will be an advantage)
Experience : Minimum of 5 years
in Accounting/Financial Management
Age limit : 30 years
and above.
Employment status : Contract
Salary
: Negotiable
Interested nationals may apply/submit for the above posts to the General Manager,
HRD, Drukair Corporation, Nyemizampa, Paro with a copy of the following documents

1. Certificate/Mark sheets (Class X, XII & Degree)
2. Citizenship ID Card
3. Security Clearance
4. Recent Medical Certificate (issued on 1st December 2009 and after)
5. No Objection Certificate from the parent organisation or the last employer for
in service applicant.
6. Work experience certificate if any.
Last date for submission of application is on 1st February 2010 at 1600 hours. Shortlisted
candidates for above posts will have to sit for selection interview for which they
are required to make a 10-minute power point presentation on their competencies,
strengths and how they can make a meaningful contribution to the position applied
for and to the Company. The interview date and venue will be informed at later date.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Candidates who do not
receive call from us should assume that they are not shortlisted.
Work Areas:
- Financial Planning-annual budgets and long term plans.
- Monthly variance analysis.
- Profitability improvement studies-Route profitability.
- Cash planning for optimization of interest income.
- Accounting systems improvement studies.
- Fare pricing and package pricing to increase revenue.
- Researching and reporting factors influencing business performance.
- Developing financial management mechanism that minimizes financial risk.
- Conducting reviews and evaluation for cost reduction opportunities.

Market Planning
|
ED: MBA in Marketing from a good institution.
EX: At least five years in the marketing department of a commercial organization. Experience in international marketing and/or travel industry would be an advantage.
JR: Ability to study and analyse the existing market in which Drukair operates and formulate plans to improve Drukair operations. Ability to study new markets and formulate plans for Drukair to enter such markets.

Financial Planning
|
ED: MBA in Finance from a good institution or a Chartered Accountant.
EX: At least five years in the marketing department of a commercial organization. Experience in international marketing and/or travel industry would be an advantage.
JR: : Ability to formulate financial plans for the entire operations of a commercial organization. Ability to raise finances to meet the capital investment requirements and to meet working capital requirements.

NOTE* The grade and pay for the above posts shall be fixed commensurate with the experience of the candidate. There are other allowances and non-financial benefits as per the Service Manual.
